  My last visit did not go well. I asked Mia for a matte finish. My nails were done and nails were shiny. I reminded Mia I wanted a matte finish. She said oh you want matte. She put the matte finish over the shine. The color became very uneven and did not look good. Another tech came over and said the matte finish only works with dark colors or black. The color I chose was dark. But I have had matte done on light colors too. Mia said I could leave them or have shiny. Which she said she likes better. I asked if they could discount 50%. The other tech said they could only give 15%. So I did ask for them to be redone. She seemed put out by my request. But she did redo my nails. Sadly they were not great. You could see remnants of the previous color around the edges of my nails. I had already been there for almost three hours. So I took my loss and left. In addition nail tools that were used that were not sterile as they were not in a sterile package and came from behind the desk.
