Rating: 2I’ve shopped several stores at Burning Tree and would enjoy shopping there again. The problem I have is with the mall itself. To put it bluntly, the mall is NOT handicapped accessible: no automatic doors, stairs in a couple of locations. The last time I was there new crosswalks had been painted. The one I used to go to Spectrum had the painted crosswalk ending several feet from the door and the lowered sidewalk in front of irt. I walk with a cane or walker, and there is no way I have found to enter the mall without steps or automatic door openers. New crosswalks had been painted but one ended up away from the slanted curb and the door. If I’m short with someone I can shop, but asking strangers to hold doors for me, or having store personnel carry my purchases to my car Is not the way to keep disabled people shopping.
