  I have been taking my dog to petsmart groomer since he was 8 months old and is now going on 9 years and usually would say nothing but good things and have had great experiences except for today. I always schedule my appt. Early morning because i work afternoons and nights and always communicate that at beginning of service. Today we were at 9am and my 1st thought walking in was new staff #1 and #2 Not one of the girls smiled or look happy to be doing this at all. Come to find out one of those girls is my dogs stylist great! She introduced herself as Cassandra, Cassandra Barr as it was on receipt who proceeded to give my dog some sort of health check she said which has never happened not once with any other stylist and also proceeded to make comments as if she was a vet!? Me being confused if I was with a Dr. Or groomer. Usually my appts. take about 3 hours, so dropping him at 9am to me means 12 noonish and after hearing nothing around 12 I called to see his progress and and gentleman answered and said let me check with stylist then got back on phone to tell me appt. Usually take 4hours he should be done around 1 I said thank you hung up. More time going by it is now 1pm no phone call so I decide to just head down to stor, walk in saying i need to pick up Bob so I can proceed with my day and get to work and the girl goes ok he is ready oh ok well thanks for the phone call Cassandra good thing I just came here or else I would be sitting around waiting. Next time I make an appt. I will be asking for a different stylist for sure and maybe make sure you guys are hiring people excited about their jobs and really want to make a customer feel great about leaving their baby with them. Years of feeling comfortable I was the most uncomfortable with the whole process today and felt very uneasy about everything. Her stylist work is very good dog looks great but attitude and professionalism needs to be fixed and if you don't like what you are doing don't do it. I will say when I picked him up another girl with blonde hair did not even say anything to me but was standing with the biggest smile on her face wish I got your name but cheers to you for making peoples days feel good or better with just a smile sometimes that's all it takes and all the other problems disappear.
