Very disappointed in this store's bakery. Every Christmas we order colored butter cream frosting to decorate our home made sugar cookies so this year we decided to order it from this store. My daughter and I went to the bakery counter to fill out the order form 3 days before Christmas Eve. They were so rude and said they had run out of red, green, and white frosting and couldn't help us. If we wanted other colors they would be $4.99 per small container. First of all, who runs out of Christmas colored frosting 3 days before Christmas and second of all, we've never even paid $4.99 for a large tub of frosting in the past. I feel as though they just didn't want to do their job. We ended up ordering our frosting from the Vons off El Camino Real in Carlsbad by the movie theater. Oh my goodness. They were so nice and helpful. We ordered 5 tubs of different colored frosting for under $10. I'll definitely go back to the Vons on El Camino for all my bakery needs and DEFINITELY not the vons in LaCosta!
