We purchased a pair of recliners in December 2021 and are still waiting on them. We were told by the store manager 4 months for delivery and we are coming up on 6 months from the day the order was placed. I have called the store to ask where the recliners are and when will they be delivered. I was told by a rather rude woman that it takes 6 months to get furniture and our recliners shipped from Missouri 4 weeks ago. She said the third party trucking company has to make several stops before coming to Houston. Today is 4 weeks since they shipped and the truck still hasn’t made it to Houston? She said they could track or trace the order and she refused to call the warehouse to see if they even made it to Houston and when I asked to speak to the store manager she said he was busy and I would have to call back. I asked her why he wasn’t going to call me back and she hung up without answering or even a good bye. It is inconsiderate to hang up on a customer, and simply ludicrous that Lazy Boy has no way to track an order and be unwilling to even try to get information on an order for a customer. The store manager has not called me so I guess I will continue to call and try and reach someone. Also we were supposed to get leather cleaner with our purchase and never received it. I was told we had to come back to the store to get it. I wouldn’t trust anything anyone at this store has to say nor would I purchase another piece of furniture from them based solely on the lies and unwillingness to help after they have taken your money.
