Okay, so I should have known that this would go wrong from the beginning... the first thing I noticed was when they sent me a text thanking me for my appointment they spelled my new wrong... my name is Reign... I spelled it to them 3 times, and also pronounced it to them 3 times... and they recorded it Reidn... I still don't understand how that could possibly sound like Reign (Rain)... then when I got my haircut, I asked them to simply nip the ends... I have NO layers in my hair and have absolutely no want for them. I've pain stakingly been trying to grow my hair out as long as possible for at least 3 years now... doing my best to keep it healthy in the process. I have fine hair and I try to get the ends nipped every 3 months... in the last 4 months or so I have completely change my hair care routine and have obsessively babied it... I've spent HOURS on trying to keep it as healthy as possible... and when they "trimmed" it today they honest to God chopped off the last 4 months of hard work that I've put into it when I simply asked for a quick trim... they also put some kind of awful layers in it that I SPECIFICALLY asked them not to do... so I'm very upset to say the least... it will take at least another 3 months to grow back what they took off today... and needless to say, I will NEVER step foot in the hair cuttery in hair VA again. I genuinely DO NOT understand how something SO SIMPLE could be screwed up this terribly... so if you ever decide to go there for a quick trim, I'd suggest going somewhere else... because apparently they don't know how to do that. P.s. if I could give negative 5 stars, I promise I would.
